The Olivet College men s and women s track & field teams opened the outdoor portion of their schedules today at the Dick Small Tri-Meet, hosted by Defiance (Ohio) College.

Due to the impending weather conditions for northwest Ohio on Saturday, the Dick Small Invitational at Defiance College has been cancelled. The meet was scheduled to be the outdoor season-opener for the Olivet College track and field teams.

Olivet College ended its indoor portion of its track and field schedule today by participating in the Calvin College Collegiate Championships inside the Huizenga Tennis & Track Center in Grand Rapids.

Justin Linzy has been selected as head track and field coach at Olivet College, according to announcement by Dave Sichterman, director of athletics.
